Working parents and carers – are you being discriminated against?
Everyone has the right to participate equally at work. For some people, equal participation at work requires accommodation of their parenting and caring responsibilities.
This session explores:
- what the law says
- what accommodations employers should provide
- what is considered ‘reasonable’
- practical preventative actions that can be taken to avoid discrimination against parents and carers
- best practice responses to requests for reasonable accommodation.
The session will be delivered as a webinar. It will be interactive and includes a presentation followed by Q and A.
