What happens when you can’t make your own big decisions? (Cobram)
Join Victoria Legal Aid for a conversation about supported decision-making and how it can help people living with reduced decision-making capacity make decisions about everyday living in a safe and supported way.
This presentation will start by unpacking the concepts of powers of attorney, guardianship, and administration before exploring the new opportunities which supported decision-making brings to people with reduced decision-making capacity and their supporters.
It will be most useful for people who are living with a disability which affects their decision-making, their supporters including friends and family, professionals who work in social services, or people who are planning for when they need support in activities of daily living.
