WAM Mentor Information Session

Support women in your community through listening, role-modelling, helping find and access community support, social connection and providing positive encouragement.

Women and Mentoring (WAM) is a unique early intervention program that supports women in contact with the justice system by matching them individually with a supportive female mentor. Volunteer mentors are trained and resourced to provide appropriate support to participants.

WAM empowers women through our values of integrity, respect, belonging, empowerment, and social justice.  Each mentoring pair is unique, as are the outcomes for each woman, but through regular meetings, practical assistance and non-judgemental support, they work together on goals identified by the participant to change her life trajectory.

Please join us at our upcoming volunteer information session to discover more about becoming a WAM mentor.
