Victoria’s Integrity System, Reforms to the Whistleblower Scheme and the Role of the Victorian Inspectorate

Integrity bodies such as the Independent Broad-based Anti-corruption Commission (IBAC) and the Victorian Ombudsman play a key role in Victoria, ensuring the police force and public sector bodies are held accountable for their conduct in public office.

Along with the Victorian Inspectorate (VI), they also have a central role in Victoria’s whistleblowing scheme, which has undergone significant reforms this year.

The VI’s vision is that the integrity system is robust and trusted. In this context, we invite you to learn more about Victoria’s integrity system.

In a special Law Week event, the Inspector, Eamonn Moran PSM QC, and the Executive Director Legal and Integrity, Cathy Cato, will discuss Victoria’s integrity system, reforms to the whistleblower scheme and the role of the VI in the integrity system. The discussion will be followed by a live Q&A with the Inspector.
