Children are among the most vulnerable members of society, so it is crucial that they are given every consideration under the law. That’s why, in parenting disputes, the Court will often order a Family Report to help determine a child’s best interests.
In this information session, Dr Vincent Papaleo — a clinical psychologist who specialises in working with children and families in the court system — conducts a deep dive into Family Reports. Discover what is involved in the report process, what goes into a Family Report, how the report may be utilised in the Court proceedings and how judges might assess the information contained in a Family Report. He will also discuss how information obtained in this process may be assessed by Judges dealing with these matters.
