Sexual consent and the law – for teachers and youth services providers

This professional learning session explores the law regarding sexual consent and age of consent as it relates to young people, as well as their legal rights and responsibilities with producing, possessing and distributing intimate images. This session will also introduce participants to our free Sex, Young People and the Law Educator kit.

Community educators and lawyers from Victoria Legal Aid use plain language and a non-judgemental and inclusive approach to explain complex laws relating to sexting and sexual consent in relation to young people.
