Putting the court user first – responding to changing need

Court Network provides free non-legal support and information to all individuals, families and support people going to court. The service is delivered by over 450 trained volunteers, who guide people through the court process and provide referrals to assist with legal and other issues.

In 2020, Court Network launched a new telephone support service, making their services accessible to more people across Victoria and enabling court users to access help well in advance of their court date.

Learn how the telephone service was established, the support it can offer people going to court, and how this referral pathway can assist community and support workers.
