Meet your Victorian Ombudsman, Deborah Glass

The Victorian Ombudsman holds the public sector accountable. As well as handling individual complaints, the Victorian Ombudsman, Deborah Glass, conducts high profile investigations into issues that affect thousands of Victorians.

In recent months, her investigation into the ‘hard lockdown’ of the public housing towers during the COVID-19 pandemic found that the timing of the lockdown breached human rights. And her investigation into improperly issued parking fines led to a series of councils refunding millions of dollars’ worth of fines.

Meet your Ombudsman outside the State Library Victoria.

Do you have an issue with a Victorian public organisation? The team from the Victorian Ombudsman will also be there to answer your questions and help you lodge a complaint in 7 minutes. Drop by and see how they can help you.
