Making Requests for Reasonable Adjustments at Work for Employees with Chronic Illness or Invisible Disabilities

Making a request for reasonable adjustments in the workplace can be challenging.

This session is designed to give practical guidance on making requests for reasonable adjustments for people with disabilities in the workplace. It will clarify the entitlements of employees to make requests and what the law says.

We will outline ‘best practice’ approaches to making a request, what information to include, as well as addressing privacy and expectations around the process.

The session will include an interactive presentation followed by a Q & A.
