Women are expected to ‘live lawfully’ once they have faced the consequences of being charged with a criminal offence. However, for many women struggling with the justice system, the cycle of re-offending can be challenging to break when stigma and marginalisation follows them. In this webinar you will hear from women participating in WAM’s Peer Advisory Panel. They will share their experiences of overcoming the structural and systemic barriers to move beyond their past as they manage life after jail. This will help organisations better understand how to work with and support women to overcome these struggles.
