Living free of the system – designing services to support women leaving prison

Join staff from Law and Advocacy Centre for Women, Flat Out and Fitzroy Legal Service for an interactive panel discussion about why women go to prison, what this means for their lives, families and children and what they need to get out and stay out of custody.

Panellists will draw on insights from women who have been in prison, extensive practice experience and key findings from the Centre for Innovative Justice’s recent evaluation of the Women Transforming Justice project, which piloted a women-specific and integrated bail support service for women on remand.
