Justices of the Peace near you – ready to witness your documents (online)

Did you know that Justices of the Peace can now witness your documents online?  Have your documentation witnessed free of charge from the comfort of your home or office. Make an appointment today via the remote-witnessing website.

30 minute appointments are available at the following times:

Monday to Friday 

A Justice of the Peace can witness the following documents online:

  • Statutory declarations
  • Affidavits
  • Powers of attorney
  • Notice of intent to marry
  • Wills

Please note that certification of documents and Medical Treatment Decision Makers cannot be witnessed online – they must be witnessed in person.

This service is accessible using any Windows or Mac laptop or tablet, Android or Apple smart phone, or a scanning app such as Adobe Scan.

You will receive a confirmation email with a Zoom meeting invitation for the session at the time of registration and you  will be guided through the process by the Justice of Peace running the session.
