For refugees and recent arrivals, engaging with legal institutions and seeing principles of open justice in action is crucial in fostering trust and improving access.
As part of Law Week, the Northern Community Legal Centre will host a tour of the Broadmeadows Magistrates’ Court for Adult Migrant English Program students, refugees and recent arrivals, and members of the public. By opening legal institutions to recently arrived and refugee communities, who face compounding discriminations, we are able resource and empower people in their access to justice.
Presented by Northern Community Legal Centre.
