How would you like to be cared for when you’re older? (Ballarat East)

You may reach a point in life when you no longer have the capacity to make your own decisions. When this happens, who will make decisions for you? An ‘advanced care directive’ is something you can put in place to make sure that when you’re too sick, doctors and carers choose treatments that align with your values and preferences.

Learn more about how to put these measures in place at Ballarat East Neighbourhood House on Wednesday 18 May from 1:30 pm to 2:30 pm.

There will also be a Ballarat and Grampians Community Legal Service Information Stall at the session from which you can get additional information and resources.

Please note that all sessions presented are information only and do not constitute legal advice.

For legal advice you can call Ballarat and Grampians Community Legal Service on (03) 5331 5999 to make an appointment (subject to conflict of interest).
