Inner Melbourne Community Legal is currently providing free legal help by telephone to people on low incomes who live, work, study or are connected to services in the inner-city area. This includes patients at partner hospitals, people who are connected to local community services like schools, family services and homelessness organisations, and also parties involved in intervention order proceedings in the Melbourne Magistrates’ Court.
They provide assistance with legal problems relating to family law, family violence, fines, debts tenancy, criminal law, victims of crime, personal safety and employment law.
