Change Your ID Infoshare Session

To help celebrate the International Day Against Homophobia, Biphobia and Intersexism (IDAHOBIT), you’re invited to join LGBTIQ Legal Service Coordinator Sam Elkin and representatives from Births, Deaths and Marriages, who will run a practical information session on the Birth, Deaths and Marriages Registration Act 1996.

These important reforms, which will be implemented on 1 May 2020, removes the barriers for Victorians wanting to change the record of sex in their birth registration.

Join us to learn how to make your application to change a record of sex, which sex descriptors you can choose and what the rules are for people under the age of 18 who want to change their records.
