How can we ensure that the people who are the most vulnerable or have little voice can access legal help to improve their social, cultural, health and economic outcomes?
Better Law for a Better World answers this question by looking at the innovative practices and developments that are emerging. The book opens the dialogue around the need for the community to have a greater voice, and for the law to be more responsive in moving away from its current approaches, which are often rigid and hard to navigate. It looks at the role of compassion, democracy, humanity and inclusionary practices to make the law better in meeting the demands of an increasingly complex world.
This book launch will include an interactive discussion with the author and other experts about how the law can become more responsive to community needs.
